Bagaimana Bentuk Adjective ?

Beberapa bentuk adjective dapat diidentifikasi oleh akhirannya. Biasanya juga disebut dengan penyebutan Order of Adjectives. Akhiran Adjective yang khas meliputi:

-able/-ible capable, understandable, incredible, usable, readable,
-al functional, mathematical, chemical, influential
-ful bashful, beautiful, harmful, helpful
-ic artistic, rustic, manic, terrific
-ive intuitive, submissive, attractive, inventive
-less hopeless, sleeveless, restless, groundless
-ous dangerous, gorgeous, fabulous, adventurous

Terkadang saat menambahkan akhiran tersebut, ada beberapa perubahan harus dilakukan. Berikut adalah beberapa aturan untuk membentuk kata sifat dan pengecualiannya:

Bentuk Adjective dari Noun dan Verb

Bentuk Adjective dapat dibentuk dari kata-kata yang berbeda. Mereka dapat dibentuk dari Noun:
